But remember AA also has a hub in Miami, and in NY.... why would they keep US-Air's Hub in Charlotte?

Raleigh might be a Southwest hub, they took over the AA terminal when they pulled out.

My bet is Charlotte is going to go to hell in a hand basket real quick.

There's some great visuals out there.... but American is denying any closures to get the merger approved right now:

US-Air has a major hub in Charlotte which is sort of superfluous since, well American has DFW.

Did this merger just murder North Carolina?

10,000 jobs- Gone, overnight?

Not a good time to live in North Carolina.
