The man was one island away from succeeding.... whatever you say about Britain, you can never call them weak.

Hitler made the worst mistake of his like in the summer of 1941, in attacking Russia while Britain still stood. Had he committed his full strength to the west, Britain couldn't have held, regardless of what America might have done. Remember, until the summer of 1944, 60-70% of the Axis' military strength was committed to the East.

Honoring a German biologist. How dare they, there must be a famous American to celebrate....

Let's see ... American Rodney King was born April 2 - oh wait, he's blah.

How about Victoria Jackson, the conservative performance-art comedienne (unlike say Palin and Bachman)

So much more important than some old German biologist.

I doubt it. If Japan hadn't attacked at Pearl Harbor, the USA would have been perfectly happy trading with the Nazis (and vice versa)

Henry Ford and Adolph Hitler were mutual admirers and shared a very similar worldview. Much like the Tea Party today.

There latest debacle is getting rid of Google Reader. It sucks, and worse yet, is I now wonder if their other properties are at risk. I used to trust that the company was big enough to not make large shifts like this, but apparently they're going to nip and bite at their customer base till it's gone.

That said, while I don't care what they did on their logo, I'm smart enough to recognize it wasn't the brightest decision. How about Chavez and Jesus doing a high-five?

Such a lack of creativity these days from them.
