Dec 21 2012
This 2012 stuff is serious business among the masses, and I imagine the threat level goes to red once everyone gets together, eats turkey, and talks about the end of days.

It's not even as if I could make money out of it like the Y2K thing. No one who believes it is going to care if their systems keep going

awakening of humanity.

Someone from Europe who thinks us Americans can be "Awakened"? Has someone just got home from a pub-crawl? A bit too much Whiskey in the beans this morning?
Heck we can't even get people over here to understand why not dying by having health care is a good idea, you think American's who think Obama is the anti-christ and behind the 2012 Doomsday prophecy are ready for spiritual awakening?
Ha! I want some of what he's drinking!

NASA wrote:"Many forecasters believe Solar Cycle 24 will be big and intense. Peaking in 2011 or 2012, the cycle to come could have significant impacts on telecommunications, air traffic, power grids and GPS systems. (And don't forget the Northern Lights!) In this age of satellites and cell phones, the next solar cycle could make itself felt as never before."
I find it quite a coincidence that this major happening is forecasted for 2012, as this exact timing correlates to the ancient Mayan prediction of the end of the dimension.
An international panel of experts has released a new prediction for the next solar cycle, stating that Solar Cycle 24 will peak in May 2013 with a below-average number of sunspots. Led by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and sponsored by NASA, the panel includes a dozen members from nine different government and academic institutions. Their forecast sets the stage for at least another year of mostly quiet conditions before solar activity resumes in earnest.
"If our prediction is correct, Solar Cycle 24 will have a peak sunspot number of 90, the lowest of any cycle since 1928 when Solar Cycle 16 peaked at 78," says panel chairman Doug Biesecker of the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center, Boulder, Colo.

"The story is that the Mayan calendar ends on 2012, and thus so will the world. Well, according to the calendar on my wall, the world is going to end on Dec 31 this year..."

Yet... it (the rapture) will happen.
I see it happening within the next few years. Very likely less than 5 years from now. It doesn't have to be but that's what I'm thinking.
