Best Chicken in the Universe located in North Carolina?

Okay I'm a bit premature on this, but I had to post this if nothing more than to remind me to go. I'm personally very loyal to Roscoe's chicken and waffles out in L.A., but now that I'm on the east coast, perhaps it's time to reconsider.
I wouldn't even be writing about a deep fried food... In fact someone should beat me with my laptop just for thinking about it, but when I'm sitting here watching Alton Brown countdown Bon Apetite magazine's best of the best restaurants and their foods in America, and they happen to mention North Carolina has one of them. I'm like "no way!"

Interestingly it's right down in Charlotte. Called Price's Chicken Coop, it's a take-out only which Alton claims lends to the multitude of cars parked outside with people eating chicken in them.

I'm interested. I think it's time for some world famous chicken... Just need to find a reason to go to Charlotte.

Hmm... you get me to come up with excuses to hit Siler City for Johnson's CHEEZBURGERS; however I can think of several reasons (a few in the next couple of weeks) that I'll be in Charlotte. I'll have to put Price's on the itinerary.

Google is showing it's about 100 miles.... so it better be darn good chicken..... I just wish I didn't hate Charlotte so much....
