Fat Boy's Gordo Rose Pasta Recipe

Shannon made a terrific new pasta dish tonight which we combined efforts on. We picked up a nice $20.00 bottle of Spanish Porto wine last night which we enjoyed, and used the left-overs in this recipe... Very good stuff here:

Ingredients:
1 pckg Orecchiette pasta, boild and drained
1 pckg of spicy turkey sausage links de-tubed and crumbled.
1 14.5 oz can of chicken broth
1-2 cups Spanish Porto Red Wine.
2-3 oz of dried tomato halves (chopped)
1 pckg of mushrooms
1 red onion (chopped)
6 cloves of garlic (chopped)
salt, pepper & spice
parmesan cheese

Method:
Cook the meat and veggies, boil the pasta, drain and combine with wine, broth and seasonings and simmer... serve, top with cheese.

Yes, it's really good.

I also slow baked some chicken breasts which we shredded up and put in there, and Shannon cooked some zucchini in this.... though clearly both are optional!
