BK Joe is made from a superior blend of 100 percent Arabica coffee beans in state-of-the-art coffee systems. New turbo-strength is a bold, full-flavored high octane brew with 40 percent more caffeine than regular BK Joe for full throttle performance.

Wake up with the King. We have all seen the commercial by now. The odd part is, is that when the ads started airing the commercial included a scene where the man in bed touches the hand of the King. This was later cut in the later airings of the of the commercial due to the anti-homosexual sentiment in the US. Im sure grandma just had a fit when she figured out the British were trying to subliminally suggest being gay is a good thing.

Recently to gain back its manly image. The king has introduced their new style of coffee nicknamed BK Joe. Offered in Decaf, Regular, and Turbo it's Burger King's latest attempt at the lucrative breakfast fast food market.

With local temperatures in the 20s today, I thought it would be a good morning to get a frothy coffee at my local Burger King. I pulled up to the drive-thru and was greeted by a friendly Burger King employee who graciously asked me if I would like my coffee in decaf, regular or turbo.

Finally a fast food place that actually has named its foods after car parts I thought.

"Turbo", I said, as I stared at the sign on the drive-thru speaker that said 40 percent more caffeine.

Okay now lets fast forward about 54 minutes, and 90 percent of my turbo coffee is now gone. I'm at work and wired! I'm seeing rainbow colors on my computer screen. This stuff is GREAT! I am literally doing jumping jacks in my cubicle. I was able to take a phone call, and place an order in record time, all while sounding chip and interested. If Red Bull gives you wings, BK Joe gives you a freaking rocket accelerating jet pack with happy missiles and a oxygen tank filled with laughing gas. This is really good stuff.

BK Joe may have the caffeine, but the taste is terrible. It arrives as a concentrate looking like a colostomy bag and tasting not much better.

Love your forums!

It seems like most of the fast food places are going all out on the coffee thing. BK now has GREAT coffee, and McD's is truly excellent. It's so good I'm wondering what they're doing to it, lol.

The only losers seem to be Bojangles and Biscuitville. The coffee is average and sometimes tastes like a weak chemical solution. Their food is good, but the coffee addiction sometimes sways me over to BK and McD.

BK coffee is excellent. I would like to know the brand so I can make it at home. It is very smooth tasting, not bitter like Starbucks and lots of the other coffee shop coffees. In the past 2 years since I have been drinking it, I have had a bad cup only once. Maybe those who have had a bad experience should try the coffee once more before totally rejecting it.

Apparently, a lot of entertainment outlets are pointing this out. I wonder how long it'll be until BK pulls their 7-inchers back in.

So do either you or A Person believe that BK should just " zip it"?

Hey -- it's a free country. If they want people laughing at them, I would support them 100%

I haven't been to Burger King in 15 years. It doesn't persuade me to want one, but they are free to display their poor taste.

Doesn't everyone know it's an unwritten rule in advertising that there be at least one phallic hidden message? Figure out where Greensboring's is....

That message was hardly hidden. It's right out there - all seven inches of it

Greensboring is prettly blatant too . Boring - thusting a drill bit into pliant material and widening a hole.

I also love BK Joe coffee even if it is a concentrate (Douwe Egberts Prestige Concentrated Liquid Coffee, Water. )

I purchased Douwe Egberts Real Coffee (ground, 8.8oz bag, vacuum-sealed) from superiorcoffeeshop.com but just not the same robust flavor as BK.

BK just announced it will sell Starbucks brand Seattle's Best so I sure hope they keep BK Joe as well.

I have become obsessed with finding out how I can buy the douwe egbert prestige coffee to make at home. After contacting sara lee customer service, it appears to be impossible. I wonder if we started some kind of petition and had people sign it and then send it to sara lee headquarters if they would begin packaging to sell to the public. After drinking the coffee at BK, it was the 2nd time in a year that I was compelled to ask what kind of coffee they used. I was sure it was the same fantastic coffee I had at Fairmont Racetrack, which was where I also asked about the coffee they served. This is by far the very best coffee I have ever tasted and want to be able to drink it every day without visiting BK to do it.

it actually cant have 40 % more caffeine ........the water mix ratio may be tweaked to give a stronger profile ..but in the actual roasting process there isnt 40 % more caffeine contained ......if i lived in the states i would sue m for false advertising

BK Coffee has been my absolute favorite until this morning -- they changed to seattle's best and now it tastes just like the rest of the cookie cutter crap out there. For those of us who don't load up our coffee with flavors and other goop, this is a real disappointment -- BK had the best natural flavor of them all until now. No more out of the way stops to find BK for me !!

I'm with you. I went out of my way to Burger King for the coffee only, but no more. I give it less than 9 months before they all close.
