So Ren, (and Shan) got to go to Mr B's Pumpkin Patch in Graham last week. It's a common field trip among local schools, and a part of B&D Garden Farms and Charles Brooke's continuing efforts to educate students about farm life through interactive educational experiences like their pumpkin patch.

It really quite unique, and if you have little one's it might be worth a hop in the car to go visit Mr B's and his pumpkin patch which also includes a story filled hayride, scarecrows, and fully functioning petting zoo through the back woods of North Carolina.

Best part is that they just opened to the general public yesterday and is open everyday till October 31st.

Monday-Saturday 8:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. Sunday 12:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.

On the way to our vacation in South Carolina last week, my wife and I drove past several places that were selling pumpkins. And one place that was selling pumpkins and watermelons. We thought there was something dreadfully WRONG with that. We just couldn't put our fingers on WHY it was wrong.
