I will never forget when my very own cousin commented on Facebook that gays should not be allowed to adopt a child. It's always hard for me to understand why people in our lives who say they love you continue to do hurtful things. There have been many instances in my life with Liv where those who we've been closest to have caused us pain. The world is full of people who don't understand non traditional relationships. With this country in such a tizzy over something to me which seems ridiculous, I found
this sweet story of love.
I'm so glad that these 2 penguins in love are not in an NC zoo. To be lucky enough to have found each other and to be in a facility that cares is amazing. I hope that this family shows the world that happiness exists in all kinds of families and what constitutes a family does not have only one definition. I wish them all the best for their life together.
