Is God an Asexual?

[/floatr]If man was created in Gods image it would stand to reason, then a) God has a wife, and he doesn't give her any credit for any of the work. (typical male) OR... b) He's asexual, and reproduces through cloning or regeneration. But clearly if you were going to make mankind and have the audacity to say "I'm making you in my image" then put all this reproductive organ crap, and sex (which is a huge part of the human experience) in to it... surely there's a darker side to God's sex life we don't know about. Am I right?

Actually, I've had a question regarding that. Assuming a literalist interpretation of the whole garden-of-eden story, at what point did Adam acquire a penis?

If he was created with a penis, then it seems it was God's plan to make Adam want female company. It would put God directly at fault for the original sin of eating the fruit of knowledge of good and evil since without said penis, Adam would likely never have requested Eve.

If Adam was created without one, as would be understandable if you're creating a single individual without planning on making a female, then at what point did he acquire one?

Naturally, a MAN made religion will have a male creator. And the stories of that ultimate alpha being will reflect the most cherished fantasies of the male story tellers that do the real creating of the religion. Yes, even the story of Jesus being put to a shameful death includes the ultimate fantasy of coming back to life and gaining world-shaking revenge on the Roman oppressors.

There's nothing the least bit surprising in the view of a male-dominated religion having a male god at the center of it all.
