The fallout of the Chris Daughtry post.

According to everyone who responded to the posting of Chris Daughtry's house, his yard should be covered in people, news vans lining the street, and burglars, and perps roaming the streets, right?

After all it's my fault that it happened. But you know whats interesting? Put the address for Chris Daughtry in Google maps, Yahoo maps, or Mapquest, and nothing comes up. It appears the community is so new, that most mapping databases do not, or cannot pinpoint its location. This means that no one is going to find the place despite, everyones illusion his privacy has been destroyed.

Furthermore I visited Daughtry's neck of the woods and realized this must be the most quiet, serene neighborhood in Greensboro. No one was on the lawn, no tents, no news vans. In fact other then the trash truck and his neighbor out on the porch there wasn't a soul in sight.

So despite everyones fears, it appears my posting did little to provide anyone any means to annoy Daughtry and his family.

I did however notice this is not a gated community, and can be easily accessed by anyone. For this reason I am going to remove the street address off of here, although I'm sure anyone with a elementary education could still find it. Now I better get a damn song written about me on the next album as a thank you, Chris.

Thank you for removing the address. I'm glad that the area is serene, it looks like it is. It also sounds like the neighbors want to give him the privacy he is wanting for his family.

I'm glad he found a place where he can feel at home away from the craziness that is now his life.

In the long run you are probably right. People will find out where the Daughtry's home is regardless. But we, the fans, appreciate your willingness to remove the address.

Yes, you did invade the Daughtrys' privacy.....and I know you've been slammed by certain viewers for doing so. However, I'm SURE that all of Chris Daughtry's fans that have been griping at you enjoyed viewing the inside of his home and memorizing his address, so everyone should just lay off!!!
