It was Wenesday of this week when DaimlerChrysler made the decision to announce that the popular European gas miser "Smart Car" would come to America and compete in a landscape filled with Suburbans, Hummers, and Land Yacht Cadillacs.

It's without a doubt going to take some tweaking of the British Smart Car in order to appeal to the American market, and designer's at Smart Car headquarters have forwarded some unique photos of Smart Car prototypes they are currently working on.

LOL! I fell in love with the Smart in Europe and will certainly buy one if it comes over at a decent price. Yeah, I'm secure enough in my manhood to be seen in one... at least thats what I will tell myself.

Reminds me of the Caucus Race in Disney's "Alice in Wonderland."

Forward, backward, inward, outward
Come and join the chase!
Nothing could be drier
Than a jolly caucus-race.
Backward, forward, outward, inward
Bottom to the top,
Never a beginning There can never be a stop
To skipping, hopping, tripping
Fancy free and gay,
I started it tomorrow and will finish yesterday.
Round and round and round we go
And dance for evermore,
Once we were behind
But now we find we are
Forward, backward, inward, outward,
Come and join the chase!
Nothing could be drier than a jolly caucus-race.

Just need a few more participants... maybe 42 more... and a sponsor for the race... and sponsors for the participants... Oh, wait! That's a NASCAR race. duh!

Oh heck yeah, and don't forget the audience! A few hairy beer bellies, handlebar mustaches, chicken bones flying at the track (not to be outdone by the crumpled Budweiser cans), Confederate flags, bleached trailer chicks with tar tanned smoker-lip wrinkles! THEN you'd have a NASCAR Race! 8)

Actually, it made me think that's what Mother Teresa would look like if she was in the movie, Cars.
