Live from our Studios in Greensboro, North Carolina...Where is Fancy bred, is it in the heart or in the head?By: beth, Team News ReporterI finally figured out who Obama reminds me of.... Willy Wonka. It's that whole "Who can take a rainbow" attitude, with those deep dark bits that just make you go "What are you talking about Obama?" I feel like I'm on the verge on an internet senssation if I can just make an Obama video of him singing the song.... nah... too much work. Oh and why does Obama get the black secret service, and Hillary the white? I noticed that last night... I'm just saying... ...back to work... Beth, I corrected your title spelling ... hope you don't mind. -- SFI... Creationism, bad history taught in American schoolsBy: SouthernFriedInfidel, Team News ReporterIt seems that court decisions and proper science standards aren't enough to keep an awful lot of teachers from going ahead and telling their students the wrong stuffin their classes. High school teachers are injecting creationism into their classes in public schools ... and it's not just the US that is seeing that problem crop up. Check out the links on the article -- there's a lot of further reading involved here. The other problem that the article indicates is the injection of this inaccurate history of Christian Nationalism into history classes. Whether this is a matter of incompetence or malice is hardly the point. They are damaging the mission of the educational system. These people have every reason to know better, but they carry on anyway. The propagandists are forever busy, working constantly to plant the seeds of disinformation everywhere they possibly can. And they are not going to go away any time soon. Not unless they are weeded out and replaced with honest, competent teachers who understand the value of a proper, HONEST...
